Current NOAA solar flux and Kp observations, with clear limitations for 11-meter propagation.
Check the sky. Listen to the band.
Measured space-weather indices may help interpret changing HF propagation. They cannot establish whether 11-meter CB skip is happening at your location.
What does Kp tell us?
Kp estimates planetary geomagnetic disturbance. Higher readings may affect radio propagation, but there is no universal Kp threshold for CB DX.
What does solar flux mean?
10.7 cm flux is a solar-activity proxy. It does not tell you which local CB channels are open right now.
