Radio history and overview
The Midland 75-822 is designed to move between handheld and vehicle-powered use. Unlike a fixed dashboard CB, it can run on AA batteries with its handheld antenna or operate from a vehicle adapter, an advantage for temporary or portable setups. The manufacturer manual documents 40 AM CB channels, NOAA weather monitoring, scan functions and instant access to channels 9 and 19.
